Testimonials
On Coaching Services... "Through her compassionate questioning, Irene was able to create a space where I could gently look at the things that were getting in the way of living the life I always wanted. Each time we had a conversation, I felt clearer and more in line with my true self. Irene is a powerful healer and uses her sense of humor and an open heart to facilitate great transformation. Angles of Peace response from Tidewell Hospice. The following was an email we received after our cranes were delivered:
To
the very creative and caring young people at Pineview involved in the
Peace Cranes project. Your cranes arrived on a special day. That evening
we had 70 grieving people at an event to honor their loved one. The
cranes were a reminder that at our core Peace is so important for growth
and healing. We also have given single cranes to those individuals
trying to get through the holidays with out some one they loved. Thank
you for thinking of Tidewell and the grieving people we support.

Angles of Peace-service learning project
Project Title: Angles of Peace
Description: Students will make beaded hanging origami peace cranes to enrich
their understanding of angles, equations, and symmetry. As a local expressive artist's Numina Group guides the students through the creation process while talking to them about altruism and local non-profit organizations. Students will then choose to donate their art to one of the following: The Veteran's Center of Sarasota or Tidewell Hospice. The project is intended to strengthen mathematical skills while reaching out to those in need with messages of peace and encouragement. If time permits, students will be allowed to make an extra crane as a personal gift.
"Thank you to the expressive artist, Ms. Moksha (McCool), who came into our class and gave her entire day to help spread messages of encouragement and peace by teaching the students the art of origami." - Mrs. Spielman, Pineview School, Osprey, Florida On Workshops:
"We would like to start out by saying how grateful we are for this amazing, inspiring expressive arts community! At our recent Networking evening, guest facilitator Irene Moksha (McCool) , treated us to a wonderful mini-presentation based "active imagination" work. Thank you, Irene, for giving such a meaningful presentation, and thank you, participants, for your willingness to dive into the expressive arts with a full measure of creativity and inspiration. Irene's website is www.numinagroup.net Here are some groupings of the visual art we created together. "~ Owners Expressive Arts Florida
"Several weeks ago I had attended an
expressive arts network gathering at Expressive Arts Florida at Towles
Court in Sarasota. That evening you had presented a process that focused on the inner child and the fun, creative journey
that can occur around that theme. It was a simple (in the very best
sense of the word), gentle opportunity for me to gain insight and a different
perspective into my own thoughts and feelings. You expertly facilitated a
very powerful and moving experience.
This past week, as I facilitated an expressive arts group made
up of residents at a Sarasota long-term care facility, I introduced a process,
inspired by your inner child work, to the group. It was an amazing afternoon
as each participant placed on paper (copy paper at that!) images, colors and
shapes representing their own feelings of sadness, anger, joy and hope. The
sharing that followed was deep and meaningful to all of us.
Thank you, Irene, for introducing this process to me and to
those in attendance at Expressive Arts Florida that evening in late February.
The commitment that you have to expressive arts and to the people with whom you
share your knowledge and understanding of this work was evident. I hope
to be able to experience and be inspired again by your work in the very near
future! "
With appreciation, Cynthia (graduate Ringling College Arts and Healing Program and LMHC)
